Matt Clyde was born and raised in a Christian family with roots in the Assemblies of God and Methodist churches. He has a history with revival that has created a bench mark for his life. He was fortunate to be apart of the Smithton outpouring in 1996, introducing him to the presence of God. In 1996, Matt moved to TX with his family, and joined a church that was in the beginning stages of revival. This revival culture taught him to expect the miraculous and to pursue the presence of the Lord above all else. He attended a series of meetings at the Toronto Outpouring in 1997, which changed his life. It was here that his heart began breaking for the nations and the lost. Matt has been touched by countless generals of faith, and has developed a strong foundation in the Lord's presence. He longs to see the Awakening of the Bride of Christ.
Matt studied Missions and Communications for three years at Evangel University, the leading liberal arts school for the Assemblies of God. At that point, Matt sensed the Lord's leading to leave friends, education, and family to move to Murfreesboro and attend Middle Tennessee State University. He is currently finishing his B.A. in Political Science and will graduate in December.
Matt's heart is to see revival come to individuals and to the Church through a realization of identity as sons, priests, and the Bride. He desires to see the children's heart turn to the Father, and he believes intimacy with God is absolutely critical to living the life of faith. He is passionate about people, and he loves being apart of the collective Body of Christ.
